Our thoughts are with all of those who are currently being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are following all directives from the Australian government and health experts in an effort to reduce the spread of the virus.
Our main priorities continue to be the health and wellbeing of our staff and valued customers.
Things are changing daily, if not hourly in the Australian environment, and as such PLE have had to make some changes to the way we operate to continue to try to operate "normally".
We are also facing a high volume of orders at the moment, as such our regular dispatch times may be disrupted and our support emails/calls may be a little delayed, we apologise for any inconveniences caused.

Victoria Coronavirus (COVID-19) UPDATE
VIC STORE IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL THURSDAY 18TH FEB
Tuesday 24th November Update
- A reminder that our Heatherton store is open for click and collect only.
Wednesday 28th October Update
- WE'RE BACK!!! From Wednesday 28th onwards our Heatherton store will be OPEN for COVID-normal trading.
Services are returning to a COVID-normal, meaning our service departments are re-opening for all service jobs and we are accepting cash in-store (we still prefer card payments where possible).
If you would like to change a current order from delivery to click and collect please email the store directly (heatherton@ple.com.au) with your SO number.
We are still following all Government directives for retail trading.
Our Heatherton store is being sanitised frequently, hand sanitiser is available for both staff and customers and we are limiting the number of people in-store to comply with Government directives.

Wednesday 17th February 2021 UPDATE
With the easing of the Victorian Government circuit breaker lockdown, we are able to reopen our Victorian Heatherton store.
Thanks for sticking by us while we had to temporarily close, we can't wait to serve you (from a safe distance) in person again!
Showroom REOPENING - Click and Collect BACK
Click and Collect/pick up orders are back! If government regulations require you to wear a mask indoors away from your home you must wear a mask at PLE Computers.
Friday 12th February 2021 UPDATE
Unfortunately due to the Victorian Government's directions under the Victorian lockdown, we are temporarily closing our Heatherton store in Victoria, effective from Saturday the 13th of February.
Western Australian stores remain open.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused, the health and wellbeing of our valued customers and staff remains our highest priority.
Please do your best to stay home, stop the spread and let's smash out this lockdown so we can go back to normal quickly.

This means we can not facilitate click and collect/pick up orders.
If you had an existing click and collect/pick up order, we will be sending you an email with instructions on how to change your order to free regular delivery if you wish.

We are able to continue building PCs and dispatching via delivery from our warehouse in Victoria.

WA STORES HAVE REOPENED
Friday 5th February 2021 UPDATE
Thankfully the Western Australian Government has eased the COVID-19 restrictions meaning all of our Perth stores can reopen on Saturday the 6th of February 2021.

Click and Collect/pick up orders are back! Orders that were invoiced and were placed on hold until we reopened will be available for pick up from Saturday the 6th of February.

STORES REOPENING - SATURDAY 6TH FEBRUARY
WE ARE EXPECTING TO REOPEN ALL STORES ON SATURDAY THE 6TH OF FEBRUARY BARRING ANY FURTHER RESTRICTIONS.
Updated opening hours for WA stores for Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of February:
Saturday 6th | 9am - 5pm
Sunday 7th | 11am - 4pm
If you are planning on coming into a store on Saturday/Sunday please plan accordingly as we are expecting high demand and potential delays.
We will be following all Government directions to ensure physical distancing and COVID restrictions are observed.
We will be using as many staff as possible to try to minimise delays in store.

Delivery Orders DISPATCHING
Our distribution centre is still open at the moment barring any further restrictions, meaning we can still dispatch online delivery orders.
We are offering FREE regular delivery for all new orders over $50 in metro Perth.
We will be sending out updates to those with pending orders to keep you updated.
Please be aware, we are expecting some delays due to increased demand.
Showrooms CLOSED - Click and Collect ON HOLD
All Western Australian stores are currently CLOSED temporarily.
This means we can not facilitate click and collect/pick up orders. Current orders that have been invoiced and were ready for pick up will be placed on hold until we are able to reopen.
Unfortunately we are unable to transfer these click and collect orders back from stores to our distribution centre, so if you have a pending click and collect order you will need to wait until stores reopen to pick up.
If your order hadn't been invoiced yet, we are able to convert your click and collect order to delivery IF the products you are ordering are IN STOCK at our distribution centre.
We will be sending out updates to those with pending orders to keep you updated.
Custom Built PCs
We are able to build new and existing orders at our distribution centre, however if you have a pending build at a store you will need to wait until stores reopen for work to continue on your build.

Sunday 31st January 2021 UPDATE
Due to the recent locally acquired COVID19 case in Perth we wish to advise the following key points
- All stores are open for essential purchases as per our normal opening times.
- We strongly recommend ordering and paying online and using our in store click and collect barcode to minimise the amount of time you spend in store.
- It is anticipated that our phones and emails will be very busy, please be patient. We are doing our best to keep our phones online - only call if your enquiry is urgent.
- High touch point areas of the stores are receiving increased cleaning.
- Our staff rostering has changed to ensure staff at each store only work at the one store.
- Whilst not required by Western Australian government guidelines, we have Safe WA QR code check in barcodes at all stores. Please check in to help stop the spread.
- We still don't have any additional RTX3080 to help you in lockdown

AusPost Shipping Update + Father's Day Delivery Cut-Off Dates (26th August 2020):
Unfortunately due to increased demand and new resctrictions in Victoria we are expecting further delays (up to 3 business days) to Australia Post services.
Statement from Australia Post:
"To make sure we can still safely deliver for your customers, the following changes are immediately necessary:
No Weekend Collections in Victoria
- There will be no collections in Victoria this weekend – the last pickup for the week will be Friday 28 August 2020 by 8pm and the next collection will be Monday 31 August 2020 commencing from 5am.
Victoria destined Parcels
- With the massive demand and workforce capacity constraints, we foresee an additional 3 day delay for deliveries in Victoria. This is both within and into Victoria.
- This means, any lodgements made in other States destined for Victoria may be held in those States for up to 3 business days to allow Victoria to work through the present demand.
Father's Day
For deliveries across Australia, we recommend at least the following lodgement dates for delivery before Father's Day on Sunday 6 September 2020:
- Parcel Post and letters – Friday 28 August 2020
- Express Post parcels – Monday 31 August 2020
For items lodged after these dates, whilst we will try our best, we do not expect to be able to meet delivery for Father's Day."

AusPost Shipping Update (11th August 2020):
Due to new government restrictions in Victoria, Australia Post have had to considerably reduce the amount of staff that can be on-site at any one time. Unfortunately, this means that we may see additional 24-48 hour delays on parcels coming in and out of Victoria. We will update this page with further information when it comes to hand.

StarTrack Shipping Update (11th August 2020):
The Qantas freight temporary terminal closure in Melbourne has ended, as a result Startrack Air Shipments are back to normal operations.
Heatherton (VIC) Store Closing for Pick-up Orders (3rd August 2020):
Due to changes in Victorian COVID-19 restrictions, we will
no longer be allowing customer pickups from our Heatherton store (VIC) from Thursday 6th August 2020 onwards.
If you have already made an order from our Heatherton store using pick-up/click and collect you will receive an email from us very soon with details on how you can update your order to free regular AusPost shipping if you are unable to pick up your order before 5pm on Wednesday the 5th of August. You will also be able to login to your MyPLE account and update your order to free regular AusPost shipping from your sales orders/invoices page. If you have any enquiries please contact

Rest assured our Heatherton store is still processing online orders for delivery, building systems and available on the phone or via email for all of your tech needs. Our friendly team are doing all that they can to ensure you get your order in a timely manner and we are grateful for your patience.
We understand that this is a significant change to our operating and may be a major inconvenience to those that live near our store and prefer our regular click and collect option but we are committed to following all restrictions passed down by the Victorian Government to ensure the safety of our customers, staff and the wider public. As soon as we are able to offer these services again we will update this page.
COVID and PLE Computers
Delivery:
We are still shipping orders Australia-wide and we are doing everything in our power to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. We have changed our warehouse hours and are implementing changes to make sure we send out as many orders as we can. Unfortunately our courier partners are seeing lengthy delays across the network and have reduced tracking scans to prioritise sending as many orders as possible.
Tracking: Our courier partners have significantly reduced the amount of scans that are being completed during transit to avoid further delays. If we have dispatched your order and you have received tracking details from us, your parcel has been collected from us, but may not have been scanned into the courier's tracking system. We understand that this may be frustrating, but please understand that this is out of our control.
Click and collect is still available at all stores and we are enforcing strict social distancing measures in-store to ensure everyone's safety.

How we're operating differently:
- If government regulations require you to wear a mask indoors away from your home you must wear a mask at PLE Computers.
- Ensuring our physical stores are being cleaned and disinfected regularly, including all demo equipment.
- Hand sanitiser will be available in all stores.
- Black tape line on the floor in stores to measure the recommended 1.5m of social distancing between staff and customers.
- Some operational staff are working from home where possible.
- No price matching from other stores.
- Due to Wild Currency Fluctuations, prices are changing often. Therefore quotes reduced to 48 hours validity (to ensure current market prices are being maintained across orders).
- Builds may be delayed from the standard 5-day turnaround due to a high volume of orders.

Previous Updates:
Monday 20th July Update
- Our Heatherton store (VIC) will no longer be taking cash payments in store, please pre-pay for your order online or use our EFTPOS/credit card facilities in-store.
- From 20th July onwards, our Heatherton store (VIC) service department will no longer be accepting any jobs that aren't a warranty claim. Existing jobs will be completed and all warranty claims will be accepted but no new service jobs will be accepted. We sincerely apologise for any inconveniences caused and will update this page when we are able to offer our full range of services again.
Thursday 4th June Update
- We are now accepting cash payments in store again.
Wednesday April 1st Update
- Store phones have been turned back on. Please be advised that there still may be a high demand on the phones, so unfortunately wait times may be a little longer than usual.
- All Back to Back / Ordered as Required products have been placed back on the website for sale. If you are after something specific, please email your nearest store.
Monday March 23rd Update
- All stores in WA continuing to trade as per normal for the immediate future.
- Social distancing will be enforced at all stores. A maximum on the number of people allowed in a store exists. You will be asked to queue outside until there is adequate safe space for you to go inside.
- Our staff are wearing masks, this is a preventative measure to help reduce potential COVID19 spread.
- No longer accepting change of mind returns. Please make sure any purchases are the correct ones.
- All stores in WA will be attempting to operate a dedicated Click and Collect till, to use this till your order must be fully paid for and have received a notification that your order is ready to pickup. More guidance will be given in store regarding this.
- All stores have all available staff working.
- Unfortunately we will be no longer be able fulfill orders for Express Custom Built systems, all orders will need to adhere to the Standard Build time option.
- We will be Part Shipping standard delivery orders (all courier methods except Startrack Sameday) from 23/03/2020 from our Heatherton, Victoria store and from 24/03/2020 from Western Australia stores. You will receive the balance of the order upon arrival, at no additional freight cost.
