The Swift OLED PG49WCD features a unique custom heatsink design that maximizes heat dissipation by utilizing a highly compact layout, allowing for a larger space dedicated to cooling. Additionally, a thermal pad is placed on the panel to effectively cool down the monitor. The monitor's innovative back-cover design also incorporates vent holes on the top, enhancing the efficiency of heat dissipation and effectively removing heat from the system to reduce the risk of burn-in.
The Swift OLED PG49WCD comes with graphene film behind the Quantum Dot OLED panel to keep operating temperatures down. Graphene is one of the thinnest and strongest nanomaterials in the world and has high thermal conductivity to help effectively dissipate heat.
When activated, the ROG-exclusive Uniform Brightness setting within the OSD menu decreases peak brightness to keep levels consistent for better viewing, even when changing the size of bright white windows. It also makes marathon gaming sessions much more comfortable on the eyes.
