The Alphacool Eisfluegel (Ice wings) Aurora is the perfect choice for anyone who would like to measure their water flow and values a great aesthetic. It can be easily installed anywhere in the water cooling circuit and offers outstanding lighting.

High-Flow Sensor

The Eisfluegel is designed for high flow systems and can display a water flow of 70 to 300L/h. The speed of the Eisfluegel Aurora is read out via the 3-pin connection at a corresponding fan connection on the mainboard. This can then be used to determine the flow. Since the Eisfluegel is made of Plexi, the flow can also be easily determined visually.

Digital RGB LEDs

The Eisfluegel has 8 addressable ARGB LEDs that run around the impeller and form a circle. Since each LED can be controlled individually, any effect that the respective controller can produce can be created. The connection is made via a 3-pin JST plug, which makes the Eisfluegel compatible with all other ARGB products from Alphacool. If you prefer to control it directly via the mainboard, for example, you can use the included 3-pin 5V adapter.

Integration into the water cycle

Two G1/4" threads are available for installation in a water circuit. It is up to the user to decide which is used as IN or OUT. The Eisfluegel flow sensor is light and can therefore be positioned freely hanging in the system. On the underside of the Eisfluegel there are two screwing options for the included M3 screws. This allows the flow sensor to be placed anywhere in the housing. The scope of delivery also includes a small self-adhesive Velcro mat that can also be used to mount the Eisfluegel.

Warning

The Eisfluegel Aurora flow indicator only works from a flow rate of 70L/h! Do not install suspended horizontally inline. The weight of the flow meter will cause your tubing to sag to the point of potentially leaking. Please use only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
