The Alphacool Core reservoir combines performance with design. The reservoir tube is made of acrylic, the D5/VPP pump top and the lid are made of acetal. The combination of these two materials gives the reservoir a subtle appearance. 12 digitally addressable ARGB LEDs in the pump top and the light tower water effect inside the acrylic tube provides a wow effect.

What's new?

Compared to the previous models, the acrylic tube of the Core reservoir has an external thread. This ensures greater stability and safety when connecting the lid and pump top to the tube. The integrated digital ARGB lighting is also new. 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs in the pump top are included with the Core reservoir and no longer need to be purchased separately.

Extensive assembly options

• The box includes feet which, among other things, enable the expansion tank to be mounted on the bottom of the housing.
• The box includes 120mm/140mm mounting frames with which the Core expansion tank can be attached to free fan slots, radiators or to the fans on radiators.

Digitally addressable ARGB lighting

12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs illuminate the acrylic tube of the expansion tank. They are arranged in a ring at the lower end of the tube in the transition to the pump top and ensure brilliant illumination of the entire expansion tank. In combination with the light tower water effect, a very special ambience is achieved. The ARGB LED lighting is connected via a JST 3-pin connector and can be controlled with an ARGB controller or an ARGB capable mainboard.

Light tower water effect

A special water effect is created in the core reservoir via the riser tubes. If you do not fill the expansion tank beyond the upper edge of the riser tube, you get a kind of fountain effect. The water is pushed out of the sides of the riser tube and sprayed against the glass tube. The effect is stronger or weaker depending on the flow of the circuit. The effect can be placed at the lower or upper inlet using the riser tubes included in the delivery.

Pump compatibility

The Alphacool Core reservoir has an integrated pump top and is compatible with all original D5 pumps as well as all Alphacool VPP pumps. The pump retaining ring, a pump O-ring and all screws are included in the delivery.

Alphacool's Eiszapfen (Icicle) fitting series is the high-end range of their proven fittings! With their high flow rate, precise shape, quality workmanship and intense colour, they fit perfectly into any system.

This 90° angled adapter has a rotatable G1/4" external thread on one side and a G1/4" internal thread on the other side. This 90° angled connection is usually used where there is little space and a special solution is required to change the direction of the tubing.
