With this system the protected equipment is being fed by clean, uninterruptible power at a voltage of 240. For servers, telephone, security and medical systems that require critical power, there is only one option, the Power Shield Centurion. This new range now boasts programmable sockets that can be made to systematically shut off less important items on the UPS and increasing the backup on the most critical equipment. The new LCD display shows the load, battery charge and voltage and frequency in and out which is all visible at a glance. Additionally the UPS can be put into Eco-Mode which saves energy by not constantly engaging the inverter. All Centurion UPSs can have their backup times increased by merely adding additional battery banks. Recharge time is not sacrificed as battery banks with chargers can be added so that when the mains resume the battery packs can charge at a much faster rate. Tower and Rackmount models available.
